Terms of use

These terms govern access to Slipmill, including slipmill.com, the render API, and related software. By creating an account or sending a request with a Slipmill key, you agree to them.

The service

Slipmill accepts JSON for two templates — packing-slip and invoice — and returns a PDF. We do not provide legal, tax, accounting, or shipping advice. Amounts, addresses, and tax figures are printed as you send them.

AS-IS

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” MEDIA YARD LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free PDFs, or that a packing slip will satisfy a carrier, marketplace, or auditor.

Accounts and keys

You are responsible for the Slipmill keys issued to your account and for the JSON you submit. Keys are credentials, not a license grant. There is no human review of each render. Quota is enforced; Starter and Pro stop at the included cap. Scale meters overage when configured in Stripe.

Fees

Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Prices are as listed on the pricing page at the time of checkout. Failed payments may return the account to Starter.

Confidentiality

Order payloads may include customer names and addresses. We treat that content as confidential and use it to render the PDF, operate the account, and meet the law. We do not sell it. See the privacy policy and DPA.

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Media Yard LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or substitute services. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

No lawyer on staff

Nothing on this site is legal advice. Media Yard LLC does not hold itself out as a law firm and does not have lawyers on staff to review your slips, invoices, or tax figures.

Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue lies in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
